GameUp - From the creators of BrainPop and BrainPop Jr., a nice site for animated educational games in Math, Science, Reading, etc. It appears that the games are free and that you do not need a subcription.
Graphite™ is a free service from nonprofit Common Sense Media designed to help preK-12 educators discover, use, and share the best apps, games, websites, and digital curricula for their students by providing unbiased, rigorous ratings and practical insights from our active community of teachers. Create your free account to have the ability to rate, curate, and create. Members rate by sharing reviews called Field Notes. Field Notes are reviews of tools written by teachers and include explanations of how teachers have used them with students. Members curate by collecting and organizing content on Graphite, such as reviews, Field Notes, blog posts, and App Flows onto Boards. And members can create tech-rich lesson plans called App Flows which provide a framework for seamlessly integrating technology into the curriculum. At My Science Box you'll find complete, scaffolded lesson plans to teach a 4-6 week middle school science unit through activities, projects, and field trips. Every lesson has been kid-tested with students at Archway School. Our long-term goal is to make all systematic knowledge immediately computable and accessible to everyone. This can be valuable to educators in many ways Using Wolfram Alpha in the Classroom Great Websites for Kids is a compilation of exemplary websites geared to children from birth to age 14. Suggested sites are evaluated by the Great Websites for Kids Committee using established selection criteria. The committee is made up of members of the Association for Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association. Newly evaluated and accepted sites are added to the database three times a year. The committee also reviews all sites within the database twice a year to guarantee sites are still relevant, appropriate and accessible. Fuel the Brain has numerous games, interactives and printables to help enhance and practice elementary skills in Math, Science and Language Arts. Root of the Week by Fuel the Brain -- New Root Word/Affix Explored Every Wednesday. Examples and lesson plan ideas for Educators are available.
